2026 Ft Johnson Estates

Swimming Pool Memberships 

Dear Fort Johnson Estates Residents,

The Fort Johnson Estates Swimming Pool is a neighborhood asset inuring to the benefit of the property owners and FJE residents are always encouraged  to acquire annual pool memberships.

2026 FJE Swimming Pool Hours

❖ Pool opening date May 1, 2026.
❖ Pool opens at 6:00 am every day

❖ Pool closes at 9:00 pm every day

The pool will be closed any time lightning in the vicinity is considered a possibility and for a minimum of 30 minutes if thunder is heard.

If you bring guests to the pool, please sign the guest logbook to the left of the bulletin board and place the guest fee(s) of $5.00 per guest in the lockbox mounted under the guest logbook. 

We will offer a limited number of pool memberships. Please DO NOT use our FJE Resident Application for a Non-Resident Membership. For more information feel free to contact us pool@ftjohnsonestates.com

Fort Johnson Dolphins Swim Team

Fort Johnson Dolphins Swim Team will be back making a splash this summer!

This year, the regular season will run approximately May 4 – June 26, with the City Meet on June 27 and/or 28.

You do not need to be a member of the pool to join us—we’re a separate organization. Our team has a real neighborhood feel, and kids not only learn aquatic skills and the sport of swimming but also gain confidence, teamwork, and the opportunity to compete in meets.

We welcome children ages 5 (by June 1) through 18, and age groups are determined by age as of June 1. We are part of the CCAA (Coastal Carolina Aquatic Association) and typically participate in 6 dual swim meets throughout the season.

Practice Schedule:

During school (Monday–Thursday):

• 8 & under: 5:00–5:45 PM
• 9/10 & 11/12: 5:45–6:30 PM
• 13 & up: 6:30–7:30 PM

After school ends for summer (Monday–Friday):

• 8 & under: 7:00–7:45 AM
• 9/10 & 11/12: 7:45–8:30 AM
• 13 & up: 8:30–10:00 AM

Exact practice times may adjust slightly based on the number of participants and skill level.

Please mark your calendars with the following important dates:

• Monday, March 9– Registration opens for returning 2024 families/swimmers at 8:00 a.m.

• Monday, March 16– Registration opens for all families at 8:00 a.m.


A link will be sent out via email when registration opens for each group. 

• Monday, April 13– Registration closes


• Sunday, April 19– Swim assessments for 6U swimmers* (at Kids First Swim - Mt. Pleasant - indoor) a signup genius will be sent out to select a window between 2:00-3:00 p.m. 

• Sunday, April 19– Families of 6U swimmers will receive notification regarding team placement


• Monday, April 20– Meet & Greet 5:30-6:30 at the Fort Johnson Pool

*Please know we are excited to have your swimmer join the team when they are ready! For 6 & under swimmers, we do require a swim assessment. Children in this age group will need to swim the length of the pool (25 meters) unassisted before joining. This is strictly for safety reasons and to ensure every swimmer has a fun and positive experience on the team.

Pool Parties

The FJE  Swimming Pool is available during the summer for pool parties. Parties are $150 + a $250 refundable damage deposit.  Please email (pool@ftjohnsonestates.com) to arrange your event.

Pool Committee

The Ft. Johnson Estates Pool Corporation was dissolved prior to the 2015 Annual Meeting and is now a committee of the Civic Club. The pool is maintained with the effort and hard work of the volunteer Pool Committee which meets monthly to discuss maintenance and operation of the pool during the summer swim season and in the off-season.
